How the Skilled Trade Education – AAS Program Works
How the Program Works – Years 1–2 (11th & 12th Grade)
- Take 10 Virtues Campus classes (3 credits each) focused on character, leadership, and life skills.
- Complete – 10 college-level courses with South Eastern University (SEU) in your chosen technical field.
Graduate with
- 30 college credits from Virtues Campus Curriculum.
- 30 college credits from SEU in your field of study
- An AAS degree in your field of study
Options upon completion – Continue at SEU toward a 4-year degree, begin working for needed Journeyman time for Licensing, or enter the workforce with a degree and a head start.

Program Overview – The 2-Year Trades Track
Our trades-focused associate degree program is built for high school juniors, seniors, and recent graduates (11th–14th year students) who are eager to start a meaningful career in the skilled trades. The program includes:
Year 1 & 2:
10 Virtues Campus Classes (30 Credits):
Each semester, you’ll take 2-3, 3-credit Virtues courses. These courses cover:

SEU Technical Courses (30 Credits) in a Skilled Trade:
- Complete core technical classes in your chosen trade—Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Construction, or Project Management.
- Courses are designed to meet most or all state classroom hour requirements for licensure in Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing.
- Construction and Project Management students gain a strong advantage toward future supervisory or entrepreneurial roles.
